I love ur Mahabharat post. So, can i ask U about Hinduism, i'm Catholic but i'm intrested and want to know. So... Vishnu had many forms and reincarnation, which one does people in India pray to the most? Vishnu himself or Sri Krishna or Sri Rama? I'm from Bali btw :D

phandomoftheowl:

Of course, well you have to understand, there are about 10 major forms of Vishnu and they’re worshiped all across the country. It’s hard to pinpoint who is worshiped more. In Maharashtra, we don’t worship Krishna because he’s not viewed as deserving of godliness, since so many died because of him. In fact, my parents say they hadn’t even heard of Krishna worshiping Krishna growing up. Likewise, Narsingh, our family god, isn’t as popular in the north, i believe? Balaji is very popular in the south and Maharahtra, and I’m honestly not sure about how the North, West and Eastern parts view Balaji. Rama is meh? Again, it’s so vast and varied that I honestly do not know. I am sorry I am so unhelpful. I’ll open this to my followers who likely know more.

Krishna kill many? Is it because of the war? Also, i’ve watch some other ver of Mahabharat like B.R Chopra ver. And also, my country’s ver. There are indeed some big diffrent. In my country, they only focused on the pandavas and kuravas, even draupadi is not known in the short ver. It said that once, there was a king in my country ask his writer to write Mahabharat which had the background of his country’s conflict. Arjun name is Arjuna, Krishna is Kresna. Even they got the wayang(i don’t know how to translate this. So, u stated that Vishnu is Buddha is religion conflict. I search further about this, and one of the source said that, Krishna is mentioned in one of Buddha religion book. So, how does the India people face this thing in the real situation?

I’m a good kid,
Yes, i really am,
I already am,
I’m a good kid

You’re a bad kid,
You hurt me,
You’re naughty,
You’re a very bad kid

theraccolta:

Give peace in our times, O Lord, because there is none other that fighteth for us, but only Thou, O our God!

V. Peace be within thy walls,

R. And abundance within thy towers.

Let us pray.

O God, from whom all holy desires, all right counsels and all just works do proceed; give unto Thy servants that peace which the world cannot give, that both our hearts may be set to obey Thy commandments, and also that we, being delivered from the fear of our enemies, may pass our time, under Thy protection, in rest and quietness. Through Our Lord Jesus Christ, thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Queen of Peace, Pray for us!
